Airport : The nearest airport is at Bagdogra, West Bengal, about 124 km from Gangtok. From here you will find numerous vehicles to reach Namchi.

Railhead : New Jalpaiguri Railway Station in West Bengal is the closest railhead, which is 125 km from Gangtok.

Road Transport : There are SNT buses to Pelling, Gangtok, Yuksom, Jorethang, Tashiding, Darjeeling and Siliguri. You will find buses from these place to reach Namchi.

By Rail : The two closest railway stations to Namchi are Siliguri Junction, 114 kms and New Jalpaiguri, 125 Kms away from Namchi from where one can board trains to Calcutta,Delhi and other important cities of India.Besides taxis, SNT also plies regular bus services from Siliguri station to Namchi.

By Road: Sikkim Nationalised Transport provides daily services between Namchi and Gangtok.One can drive up to Namchi from Siliguri.Private buses, taxis, jeeps are available outside Bagdogra airport and Sikkim Nationalised Transport, Siliguri for to and fro journey.
